Welcome to Bridport and District u3a

The "Covid" times we are in at present

Whilst opportunities to meet in person have necessarily had to be restricted due to Covid-19, we are currently able to offer our members a growing range of activities accessible predominantly on-line and via email. These include monthly talks, short courses and group activities. Further details about all our activities can be found on the 'Groups' and 'Diary' pages.

Virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Skype have provided an invaluable means for our members to continue to safely enjoy u3a activities and maintain social contact. Assistance using Zoom and Skype is available on their respective websites, the u3a UK website under “How to guidance” as well as instructional videos on YouTube. Some of our members have considerable experience with Zoom and Skype and would be happy to offer assistance. Please Email [email protected] for help.

Where are meetings held?

We have no fixed venue. Many small groups meet in members’ homes, whilst larger groups meet in various locations.
At present many meetings are taking place on-line.

When do groups meet?

Groups generally meet on weekday mornings or afternoons. Meetings may be held monthly, weekly, or every two weeks.

If you would like to join, or to begin with a "taster session" at one of the groups, or simply to obtain more information, then please see the "Join" page.
